I’ve been into fashion since seeing Linda Evangelista in the
Chanel Fall 1991 ads all over Vogue.
It was the era of Claudia Schiffer for guess jeans, Kate moss was heroin chic and drinking Evian was fashionable. The age was characterized by luxe, glam and excess; the following year was Gianni Versace’s best year hands down. Vogue was the Bible.
In Canada, where I grew up, Jeanne Becker on Fashion Television where I’d watch the runway shows Saturday mornings on TV and Suzanne Boyd was the editor at Flare magazine (the Canadian Vogue, lol) which I adored. It was a wonderful time in fashion.
Since a young age I have always appreciated the artistry and craftsmanship of fashion design. And to this day,
from haute couture to streetwear, I continue to be
fascinated by the way that fashion can express personality
and individuality.
Over the years this interest in fashion has continued to grow
and my passion manifested into a thrifting hobby, chasing
great runway pieces I have seen on a show, in a magazine or
on a billboard somewhere in my travels.
Today I am taking this passion and leveraging this as a
platform to share my experiences, unique finds and style with you!
